i mostly learned how to cook because i love eating fancy things and fancy things cost SO MUCH in restaurants and SO LITTLE if you make them at home. scallops are that. they are so rich , like little pats of butter. sear them for like a minute on each side in butter and olive oil (i sizzled some mashed up garlic in the butter first). they are so fancy and delicious and maybe healthy? probably not.
